2 – Get In Line – Ron Sexmith – A personal best for Ron, this is a witty and pretty song about people who wanna make you miserable, “if you feel the need to remind me of a world that’s long gone,take a number and get in line…” – A+
3 – Livin’ La Vida Loca – Ricky Martin – A huge, career making hit for young Ricky remains a novelty number but a good – A
4 – Love Is Lost – Hello Steve Reich – David Bowie – ten minutes of magic, one of James Murphy’s masterpieces – A
5 – Adios English version – Ricky Martin – A fine newbie, the Spanish version is a little better – B+
6 – Victory – Diddy – The outro is perfect and terrible, “It’s all fucked up now” – A
7 – Turtles All The Way Down – Sturgill Simpson – A huge hit but not my idea of fun – C+
8 – Our Whole Lives – The Hold Steady – Sin and sex and Christianity – A
9 – You’ll Never Get To Heaven If You Break My Heart – The Stylistics – The falsetto gets to you fast, they are playing Beacon Theatre on February 14th, 2015, a must see – A+
