1. American Horror – Speedy Ortiz – This is a quirked out angular wall of guitars broken into from outside by Sadie Dupuis’s off melody singing, and this time at least it works great -like Best Cast meets Pavement, and also not too much like either – B+

2. Salad Days – Mac Demarco – One of the single catchiest hooks you will ever heard and I know this for sure because everybody at 4K was singing it – A

3. in A Jar – Dinosaur Jr – Did Nirvana name check these guys as influences? Sure they do – B+

4. Blitzkrieg Bop – The Ramones – Although we couldn’t hear it at the time, this was the mainstreaming of punk – A+

5. Walkin’ Down My Street – Nude Beach – Sounds like Bruce in full blown pop mode, the chorus is “Sherry Baby” – A

6. Under Pressure – David Bowie And Queen – to nitpick, the drums don’t move enough, compared to Let’s Dance… to nitpick – A

7. Fantastic Planet Of Love – Marshall Crenshaw – The zoomed in guitar during the intro is by the drums, neither of which actually need it – A+

8. Dope Fiend Rental (feat Schoolboy Q) – Danny Brown – Best sample in awhile, like an alarm and a foghorn at the same AND since I missed Ab Soul (exhaustion set in) I can not wait for this show next week – A

9. High Falls – The Allman Brothers – 10 minute drum solo – D

10. Everything’s Coming Up Roses –  Paul covers Sondheim and goes flat on “we’ve got nothing to hit but the heights” and who am I to complain? – B+
