Angel has a lot of wants

Angel has a lot of wants

1. White Water –  Angel Olsen – Another haunting masterwork by the solemn sodded big time indie wench of 2014, with natty little one liners like “she wants to be naked and elegant”, and a hefty rhymic hook to take it home and haunted Siren vocals. Nifty – B+

2. Daffodils feat Kevin Parker – mark Ronson – Adding beats to Tame Impala’s heavy duty rock guitar machine – B

3. The Places you Go – Anna Renee – I was holding my breath till the chorus, sure it would head straight to the exist and it nearly did, a little too oversun, but it steadied itself and pulled out back to the verse – B+

4. Steal My Girl Raiders Of The Lost Art Remix – One Direction – Dreadful – C-

5. Who Am I with Star Slinger – Emay – Very good sample and less great rap – B

6. Freak – Olivver The Kid – mainstream rocker – B-

7. Days – Beach Youth – Very catchy, like they’ve been sitting on the pains of being pure at heart
rehearsals – B+

8. All In The Day – Young Thug – Pretty wild heavy beats – B

9. Silent Type – Like being haunted by the ghost of your exes sister – A-

10. New Romancers (feat Moors) – James Vincent McMorrow – Minor James Blake soundalike –a real blah – B-
