–  Fuck Tha Police – N.W.A. – It has aged a little though the sentiment is essentially timeless, and if the stories coming out of Compton from the licks of Vince “I never run from nothing but tha police” Staples is to believed, not a damn thing has changed so with all the interest back on full beam, it sure sounds fresh enough in some ways – B+

Gin And Juice – Snoop Dogg – Let’s be clear, this stuff is legendary in ways Dre isn’t right now with his mind on his money and his money on his mind – A+

– The Black Hole – Atticus Ross – From the start of the movie, it is like a melting subconscious drift into brian Wilson’s brain – A

– Losing It – Atticus Ross – The sort of sounds that made him the sound track composer to watch – B+

– Genocide – Dr.  Dre – People overrate the new album, because this is a great track, and it happens early while they’re still playing attention. Marsha Ambrosius in fine voice- A-

– From An Airplane – Iris DeMent – iris dials in her inner Americana Johnny Cash feelers – B+

– I’m Your Doll – FKA twigs – A rare beauty, it sounds like LP1 only everything is quitter but the bass – A-

– April Say you Will – Simon and Garfunkel – A romance is born and dead before September – A+

– Tag, You’re It – Melanie, Martinez – So impressive, this girl who meets childhood games with adult desires – B+

– V – Bullet For My Valentine – Slow build intro to the first scream of the second song – B
