Shortly after word came that BO would be doing a 2 day stint at a local TX clubs and us die hards cheered the news. Everything was going to be OK!! We were sincere. I for one was heart torn regarding the whole situation.
Well… now?
Now Ive gotten the Blue October Newsletter telling me there is new merch available a “The End” hoodie, that there were a few more tickets available for the 2 night stand in Austin….
Ok I know we should all move on after a life drama, but seriously I’m beginning to feel ‘had’. Was this episode a publicity stunt to drum up ticket sales? You’d think there would be a twitter saying were ok, maybe a press line from Furstenfeld himself thanking us for our prayers and positive vibe… did I miss that tweet?? I’m thrilled Justin is performing again I hope for loads more from one of my fave bands, BUT their ‘people’ really should have handled the transition to wellness a bit better… cuz in this fans eyes.. it smells of a scam.
