Much to the delight of Wolfgang Gartner fans everywhere, the instrumental version of his newest song “Forever” was released about a week after the original.
From what I’ve gathered, the general consensus seems to be that listeners aren’t irritated that the original contains vocals, but rather who wrote and sings the obnoxious, repetitive, and unoriginal lyrics. Let’s party all night long. Let’s make it last forever. Thanks Will I Am for taking a solid Wolfgang track and trying to make it into another one of your stupid Black Eyed Peas’ party anthems. I never liked your stuff to begin with, and I don’t plan on it in the future especially after that horrendous, huge waste-of-money performance at the Super Bowl where you tried to preach to me about love and educating the youth. Thanks, but no thanks you pretentious asshole.
I don’t know who decided on this collaboration, but I wish it hadn’t happened. Mr. Gartner already has enough going for him, and he doesn’t need any extra help.
Fortunately, we now have two options and can pretend like the original was just a big mistake that never happened.
