The problem with Black Eye Peas at the Super Bowl is the same as they had when they played at MSG last year. They kinda suck live. They are the OK Go of hip hop.
Starting with “I’ve Got A Feeling ” and thru Fergies GNR “Sweet Child O’ Mine” Slash guest star spot and Usher’s, “OMG” they were excellent if excellence was computer generated.
Then all the way the way thru “The Time”, it was magical in a boring way. It was like Bambi Part II on DVD as opposed to Bambi. The two otheres were irrelevant, the special effects was the point, Fergie look like shit shit and William looked like he had just joined Intel.
