In the 90s, Raymond Pettibon participated in an exhibit for the MOCA ‘Helter Skelter: L.A. Art in the 1990s’, was included in the Whitney Museum of American Art’s Biennial, had numerous exhibits at the MOMA and MOCA and in European Museums.
He has received too many awards and prizes to list them here. I even remember going to a Magritte’s exhibit at the LACMA, about ‘The Treachery of Images’, and Pettibon’s work was right there too!
So why am I talking about Raymond Pettibon? Because if you can win a Pettibon T-shirt (basically a piece of art), if you follow/like/join the band OFF!, as he is now making their EPs/LPs covers. You will also win an out of print OFF! 7” vinyl, plus a pair of Vans OFF! The Wall. The winner will get the three items!
But hurry up, because the contest ends June 1st!
