In the 90s, Raymond Pettibon participated in an exhibit for the MOCA ‘Helter Skelter: L.A. Art in the 1990s’, was included in the Whitney Museum of American Art’s Biennial, had numerous exhibits at the MOMA and MOCA and in European Museums.
He has received too many awards and prizes to list them here. I even remember going to a Magritte’s exhibit at the LACMA, about ‘The Treachery of Images’, and Pettibon’s work was right there too!
