A scan of the Billboard charts finds all the usual suspects hapilly in the firmaments and every name known and registered and hey, who the hell is Circa Survive?
There they are, something called Blue Sky Noise on Atlantic Records in at #13 on the Billboard but no info. In this day and age ten minutes make you an expert… from Doylestown, Pennsylvania, circa Survive are a howling distortion riff on a hardcore but not hardcore any more than Thrice, who they’ve opened for, is.
The consider themselves art rock but it sure aint in a fun way. Still with a lead singer who sounds like a chick having menstrual pains (BUT IN A GOOD WAY) and lotsa fests like Warped and bamboozle under their belt they are all set to be the Coheed and Cambria for Generation Z (what happens next? Back to A)
Anyway, we all know what we’re getting ourselves into and if you like that they are pretty good.
