We Came As Romans Worcester Palladium, Worcester MA, Saturday, March 12th, 2011

Who is this boy?  Why thats Josh Moore of We Came As Romans!  If you recall awhile back we reported (along with every other decent source) that Josh was gravely ill.

Bacterial meningitis to be exact.  Prayer circles started.  Girls cried, his dad made public statements.

Tonight, just 2 months later the boy is pushing his own gear off the stage after kicking major ass at the Palladium.
What the hell?

The Palladium is officially my favorite venue.  The staff was amazing, the sound was fantastic, the lighting sucked- but thats the bands fault not the clubs.  WeCar took the stage after Pierce the Veil and took a pop night and made it bad ass.  We Came as Romans own the stage and own the crowd and I can guarantee you they earned new fans tonight.  The place was alive and their songs were done in rapid succession.  Nearly no break but a “thank you” as they traveled.
Material from “To Plant a Seed” was represented as well as some new songs from their yet to be released (or named) lp.  Pretty cool stuff.

I got the impression they were playing to a new crowd, Worcester didn’t seem to know them well.  They left that stage with people chanting one more song’, I’d have liked two.

Welcome back Josh, what a trooper.
