Wavves To Record With Fucked Up And Best Coast

 I knew there was something going on since there were some exchanges between @wavveswavves aka Nathan Williams, frontman of the stoned punk band Wavves, and @leftfordamian aka Fucked Up frontman Damian Abraham.

Since I don’t have the luxury to read twitter all day long, I was not sure but Pitchfork confirmed it: There is a new EP in the work, which will come out this summer, and featuring a track with Fucked Up and Best Coast.

Williams added that a song ‘sounds like the rentals, that he's ‘gotta do a video for every song’, and that there’s gonna be ‘one more collab shit will b bonkers’.

The expectations are high but Williams simply tweeted on Tuesday ‘These are the best songs I've ever recorded. Easily’
On his side, Abraham tweeted he would talk about the collaboration on the Wedge and Much Music.
Wavves is scheduled to play the Echo here in LA on May 10th, with Andrew WK and Trash Talk, I wonder whether they will play these new best songs
