Iman loves them and I had no opinion about Pissed Jeans before watching their new video for their awesomely entitled song ‘Bathroom Laughter’, off their new album ‘Honeys’ which was just released via Sub Pop.
And this video is some nightmarish adventure in your living room! Directed by Joe Stakun (Modest Mouse, Japanther) and starring Mark Proksch (The Office) just watching late night TV and all these unnecessary infomercials.
Anyway, let’s say this is not your average infomercial, ‘Cut it and Cook it’ turns all bloody to the bone, gorier than a funny episode of Halloween in the kitchen, more horrific than chainsaw massacre meets mad TV. We have to be so bored with American TV, this could actually would make me watch it…really the whole thing was hilarious!
The violence of the music directly matches the slaughter on screen, or rather Pissed Jeans' pissed off sonic fury has to be responsible for all this mayhem,… this is some bloodthirsty music!
