This new video for Wavves’ ‘That’s on Me’, the single of Afraid of Heights’ is not for the faint of heart! Ouch! I bet Helen, Mary and all the vegans of the planet are gonna raise a Morrissey led army to shut it down from YouTube! It’s so offensive, if you care a little bit about animals and how they are slaughtered, that you may get nightmares… it may also turn you vegan for life so that would be awesome.

The clip starts with this businessman-looking sword-master overweight guy, who is violently destroying everything in front of him, from soda maxi bottles to watermelon to trash can full of water, thanks to his dramatic two-handed great sword technique, and I wonder whether Nathan Williams found the guy while wasting some time on YouTube watching infomercials… But  the oddities do not stop there, the music is sang by a fake Nathan and these three cheerleaders look more enthusiastic than those in ‘American Beauty’. But the offensive stuff starts with the raw meat, when the guy begins to slice entire animals, cut pig or cow heads in half to serve BBQ to the turned-ogress cheerleaders.

‘i hope the next video gives you fucking nightmares’ tweeted Nathan on Wednesday!

So this was the only intention there? Giving people nightmares? Oh nothing should be taken that seriously, after all the video comes from a cat-lover-weed-smoker-bore-with-life guy. Actually I thought the clip had some stadium rock potentials, after all, there are muscles and guts, a medieval sword dimension, some cheerleading and even the smashing of a guitar!
