Warped Tour 2013 The Countdown Begins

That crazy rock and roll summer camp that steams into your town, kicks your kids asses, sunburns them to a crisp and packs up and leaves is gearing up again.

Now with the help of Fuse TV Warped is becoming the premier summer event for all.  The show isn’t just for rag tag punky  kids anymore this stuff is getting serious.  I pray they don’t cheapen it or commercialize it to death.  I have confidence and a boatload of faith in Kevin Lyman and his crew to keep it pure.

Warped Roadies is a new show on Fuse showing a backstage and gritty look into the inner workings of this fabulous event.  This ‘behind the scene’ look is going to fuel a zillion kids who will now want to be roadies.  The problem I have is Warped is such an interactive event that the thought of their being a ‘behind the scenes’ element takes away from the illusion that this is real DIY rock and roll.

The tag line of the program ‘From buses and bands, to groupies and grudges, hit the road for a music experience like no other — where the real show happens off stage.’ Further shatters the vibe. C’mon now let’s not reality TV one of my favorite events.  Let’s not turn this is to a Real Housewives of Warped Tour or I’m gonna go nuts.

Keep it real kids.  Oh and Tickets are on sale buy early for your location and save some coin.
