Ya gotta love Warped. New England hasn’t even had its first snow storm yet and already we’re getting info on the tour of the summer! Warped is so boss in this entire Festival scene. Kevin Lyman and crew never fail to disappoint and this ridiculously fast and furious tour involving hundreds of bands thousands of fans and a zillion stops is more organized than most American offices. I have been an avid fan of Warped and as a geezer on the scene I assure you I’ll be scuffing about in a walker in my 90’s. Waves of bands are about to be announced and the first wave is in.
Woe, Is Me, I See Stars, Go Radio, The Story So Far, Like Moths To Flames are the first cats out of the bag. If Woe is Me is one of the first to be announced I can’t imagine how big this years show is going to be. With the announcement of allegiance to Fuse TV I won’t lie- I’m nervous. Granted as far as music TV goes Fuse is tops, if only because they actually show music. That Warped Roadies bit is really worrisome but the word on the street is that it’s a great show. If you really want to see the roadies in action watch them on the tour- like a psychotic militia breaking down and rebuilding with lightening speed- its jaw dropping.
Right now tickets are at a reduced cost, theres tons of swag and seriously the anticipation of these band announcements really warm up a winter.
