I don’t have much time for the Tea Party Movement -it is a free country but I am not sure quite what they are up to. KKK in smiley face? I dunno, there is something a bt too bizarre about em. My politics are simple -and similar to my Dads. I don’t like taxes. Money works like this: the more you have, the more you spend. It doesn’t improve anything, it is spent because it is there. The Goverment should make do with 20% and get off my fucking dick. But I am not a conservative because I am too much a social libertarian. The less rukes the less criminals. The less rules, the freer we are. As John Cooper Clarke once put it: They’ll hang you for incontinance and fiddling your taxes.
BUT
Despite my distaste for the Tea Party Movement I am so happy to hear the Velvet Underground’s great drummer Moe Tucker (an influence to countless numbers of drummers over the decades) is a member of the moment.
