Comment: The difference between the albums and singles charts in 2013, is 1) the singles charts tends towards the mediocre and the album charts to the bad and 2) songs tend to stay in the charts for a couple of months and albums a couple of weeks. It is like an entire reversal of everything you thought you knew about sales. Lorde is a star now where a hit album might not have done it at all.
