Frank Schiazza Is The Only Game In Town So Show Some Love

Frank Schiazza shows how it’s done

In 2011 I wrote a rave about Frank Schiazza’s Following Through, a really terrifc album of 195 tinged rockers which if it reached the right audience would surely have turned a head or two. At the time I wrote: “Schiazza is a real talent and it is an indictment of the music business that it is so hard to place him in the mainstream. Still, as long as the Brooklyn native remains a cult fave, make it a cult you belong to.”

Two years later and Frank is still a cult but now he is a cult you can help push along by pre-ordering his October released follow-up Solitaire. This one I haven’t heard but just reading Frank on the subject is enough to make you wanna stick your hand in your pocket: “This album is my core statement; my declaration of aloneness and solitude. ‘Solitaire’ as a title and as a concept captured all that in my most raw and personal collection of songs to date. I set out to record a soul album and I ended up recording an album that bared my soul.”

Frank is one of those souls that should be pretty powerful and the promise of a statement he has been leading up to should make for one of the most intense experiences of 2013. On a personal level I consider him a musical Luddite but I don’t necessarily believe that if a man considers Pro-Tool skills anti-music, it doesn’t mean he might nit have some point in some way. Particularly if when you hear his work, his soulful real instrument, real voices, his uncompromising highly musical vision sounds purer because he keeps it real in every way.

So here is the info for the Solitaire pre-Sale, now go pay real money for real music:

I’m holding a pre-sale for my new album, SOLITAIRE, which will be released in early-October.

Pre-sale benefits include an advanced copy of the album, a copy of my last record (Following Through) and a 7-song live EP recorded in 2008.

I could use all your support on this so please, if you can, pre-order today! Thanks!!!

Frank
