This just in off Cliff’s Facebook page: “Calling all US & Canadian Fans – Cliff is delighted to announce that he will be the Special Guest of Morrissey who is playing at The Barclays Center, New York, USA on Saturday June 21st 2014. Tickets will be on sale from Friday 21st February. More information on tickets will be available closer to the time.

I may die. I may not. Moz may fall ill,… I shouldn’t even joke about that. Suddenly we get this cryptic poster on Morrisseys ghost website true-to-you.net. And the entire world halts waiting for more details.
To have Morrissey with the legendary Cliff Richards seems almost a joke. Is it possible for legend on legend to be performing together at Barclay Center? We at rocknyc have been cheering for Cliff Richard forever. Imans first concert (at the tender age of 6) was Richard and now it appears he will see him again in his own backyard.
Although no ticket information is offered the East Coast gets Richards, the West Coast gets… Tom Jones. It’s as if Moz is calling in the heroes! Tom Jones was my first ever crush! What’s new Pussycat indeed.
Stay tuned.. this aint over and could be THE concerts of the year… now if Moz could just stay healthy!
