Is it too early tosay I hate the new Amy Winehouse album?
The news Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi -her rpoducers, were pouring over a thousand hours of recording in search of those nuggets fills me with an unknown dread.
Look at it this way: as a rule of thumb, post-humous albums are quick fixes. Look at Michael Jackson's Michael from last year, for a start. or Biggie's life after death. We might not have gotten much from Amy, but what we got was perfect: two shining jewels and enough to maintain her legacy for… well, forever really.
The fear is, what we are gonna get next will be none of the above. Even the name is awful. Take a look, what do you thing… here are the titles of her soon to be three albums:
