Say what you want about the UK but their pop charts sure do have a lot of pop songs on em. Cheryl Cole is the x factor Stateside. Cole was a member of TV creation Girls Aloud -a Spice Girls for the new millinium- who didn’t break here. Cole’s first solo single and album both entered the UK charts at number one. “Fight For This Love” is a bit cookie cutter dance ballad and Cheryl could use a coupla pounds of fish and chips but it has a stong drum rhythm backing it all the way home and a quiet break in the middle. Along with Robbie Williams “Bodies” I have no idea why this isn’t being pushed stateside. Neither song available on Itunes yet.
