The UK is up in arms because boy band JLS beat out the beloved Robbie Williams by a lousy 2000 copies. I’ve heard both albums and can’t say I am that thrilled by either (“Bodies” was a great single but… Oh and Rod Stewart’s soul covers album bringing em the rear. Wow, has this guy had a career or what? “Meet Me Halfway” at the top of the charts. A cynic might question just how useful that telephone commercial was but it is hardly their first hit off The E.N.D. Otherwise, how soon till 2010? 2009 sure seems over and done with me.
