OK, time to rip off the tired hipsters at Pitchofrk. They reported (so did everybody else but we’re stealing their one) that Kanye West did a Ustream video interview with the great unwashed.
And West revealed he is working with “producers like RZA, Pete Rock, and Q-Tip, and talked a bit about the inspirations for his new album. He enthused at length about Avatar and an Alexander McQueen collection and mentioned both Thom Yorke and Trent Reznor as lyrical inspirations for the way they can make lyrical abstraction resonate with the masses.”
