U2 "Invisible" For Free All Day Today Superbowl Sunday

Let’s say this for U2’s new song “Invisible”, it can’t be worse than the dreaded “Ordinary Love” -one of the worst songs U2 have ever written. “The sea wants to kiss the golden shore…” Really? Perhaps Nelson Mandela wrote that terrible line to his wife while he was in jail, and maybe in a personal love letter it is fine, as the opening opening line of U2 song, or a Mandela tribute, or anything at all other than a love letter, it is puke inspiring trash. Just like the guitar solo, how can such a flimsy solo sound so fucking bloated.

So like I said, “Invisble” the new song can’t be worse than it. But this is what U2 are doing for the next 24 hours: they are giving it away. No that isn’t a typo. The cheap Irish gets are finally doing something for nothing… and you can get your own free download!

I got this in my email:

“Dear Iman,

It’s Invisible, it’s a new U2 song and you can download it for free, this Sunday, for 24 hours.

And every time the track is downloaded, anywhere in the world, Bank of America will donate $1 to (RED), to help in the fight against AIDS.

Catch a glimpse of the TV spot in Sunday’s Super Bowl when it all kicks off.

Don’t forget, the download is available for a
limited period – until 11.59pm (US EST) Monday.

best wishes

So right now it should be available. I will of course review it and I hope it is very good, really I do. Plus I support” “Red” and if a million people download it,. that’s some nice moolah. Of course, the assumption is that it will suck big time.
