The other day I was told I should learn a different language..
So today I did. I have a new hardcore leibling, Touche Amore. That translates to just about " good answer, my love". But hailing from Los Angeles California, this nifty post core/ punk whatever genre is loud and cool today…is fantastic.. but isn't Spanish or Italian!
Their new song 'Tilde' reminds me of Minor Threat only fresher. Ballsier. Minor Threat could come across a bit wuss, not these guys, theyre the tougher side.
The band has been around for awhile, my question is WHERE THE HELL HAVE I BEEN?
I mean I take a bit of pride in my genre, not alot but some to at least spot the great stuff.
Were they unable to get out of California?
Regardless I have found them and I am thrilled.
There is a greatness to speak screaming in hardcore. There are times you simply have no idea whats being said- not the case here. A beautiful story telling tone and motivation at the same time?
I am so excited to hear this and more to see they're touring
The new lp, "Parting the Sea Between You and Me" is due out June 7th. Til then score their single on Soundcloud (link below- you're welcome lazy sods)
