The Charlatans UK lead singer Tim Burgess looks like Ian McCullough and the band looks like all those other dyed black hair and leather jackets Anglo rockers. And sound like em too. Like Teardrop and Echo with echoes of Primal and the Manics. They come from the same 1990s vintage and are a cycle before Oasis.

Anyway, Tim has written a tell all about "the mad life of a rock star: the dynamics of the band, the creativity, the sex and the drugs but also the rock 'n' roll".
Forgive me for sneering but I have no idea what there is left to be said about being a rock star. We are at the point where I myself could write it and I neither rock nor am I a star,
The sex?
The drugs?
The creativity???
Just the description has me rolling my eyes. We are at the point now where a Libertines tell all couldn't shock, how could a Charlatan?
