The world didn’t end..which means there will be tons of new music and lots of antics from the trenches ahead. Not all things good though, there will be more Bono, more Seger and more Coldplay and really there is nothing we can do about it.
We here at rocknyc are committed to providing our readers with firsthand accounts and insightful opinion on what makes music tick these days. We are independent thinkers each with our own appreciation for all things with a beat. Unlike most sites we aren’t going to go with popular opinion, but we do promise you a broad spectrum of styles as diverse as the writers who cover them.
We wish all of you a harmonious and successful new year. We welcome your thoughts and opinions. We stand firm in our belief that music is the common man’s soapbox and damnit we’re gonna use it.
Peace to you all
