Live: Belle And Sebastian’s recorded work is so large at this time in their career that, with the exception of a handful of tracks circa Sinister to Arab Strap, and the dreaded newbie, the rest could go anywhere they choose. The opening acts, Diarrhea Planet and Real Estate,  look pretty terrific as well. Radio City Music Hall is a pretty excellent venue as well.

Recorded: My friend Sherry caught the Stones last night in Atlanta and had a lot of good things to say about them, I went back to the Super Deluxe Sticky Fingers and can’t say I am insane over the live at Leeds 1971 add. But the big news is a new T-Pain song, “Make That Shit Work”, which throws everything including Juicy J at the wall, his third song off the eagerly anticipated Stoicville: The Phoenix. The first new album since 2011.

Sports: Masahiro Tanaka shuts down the Nats 6 – 1 as one of the most peculiar seasons for the Yanks continues to the post season. Meanwhile the Mets get no hit by the Giants in one of the most normal seasons for the team. I really feel the loss of David Wright has killed them.

News: “These guys could con the devil out of hell” -sure we want the two escapee murderers caught and stuck back in prison, while simultaneously tipping our hats at their great escape.
