Death: Josh Greenberg. the 28 year old part owner of music streaming service Grooveshark, which closed suddenly this years with lawsuits up the ying yang on its tail, died in his sleep yesterday. Everybody is completely baffled as to how he died. Condolences to his family, what a shame: at its height Grooveshawk had 40 Million visitors a day.
Recorded: The new Titus Andronicus is streaming (here) and should take over my stereo player for the next couple of days. I have tickets to their Shea Stadium tickets and if I can figure out how to get there, may very well show up.
Live: I kinda missed this but bt so late that you don’t have time -Young Fathers at at Summerstage on Saturday afternoon -with one of the best albums of the year to plug, it should be a biggie though just such.
Presidency:Rudy Giuliani:”John McCain — as I’ve said many times, including when I was running against him (in 2008) — is my hero. Has been since I was in the Reagan Administration.I believe that what Donald said about him was wrong, but Donald says it was misinterpreted. So I take Donald at his word, that it was misinterpreted.”
Splitsville: Oh no: “This is not the future we envisioned. and it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter.” That’s Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert going their seprate ways after four years of marriage.
