Sports: All hail the true American Pharoah, The Triple Crown winner American Pharoah, his great jockey Bob Baffert, he of the identical tall blonde bombshell girlfriend and fiancee, and everybody who bet their shirt when they discovered American Pharoah would be running from his favorite lane, on the way to being the first horse to win the Triple Crown since…. 1978!!!
Live: Back to Governors Ball one last time as I try to decide whether to stay for Lana Del Rey or head home early. I lost my day off work so my friend can go to Atlanta for the Stones gig. Well, what can a poor boy do…?
Recorded: I am spending my time listening to the recordings I’ve made of Rudimental, Clean Bandit and more! Especially Bjork which came out fabulous.
News: Jahmal Anthony Swaby got eight years in prison for putting a cat in a cage with a ferocious dog because he wanted to see it die. Perhaps, they could have put him in a cage with a ferocious dog instead.
Movies: After reading Edward Huerta’s review of “Love ANd Mercy”, I am all the more excited to see it myself!!!
Local Politics: MTA chairman Thomas Prendergast wants $32 Billion to update the MTA. Really? I’ll tell you what, finish one project on time and on budget and we will talk. I wouldn’t trust this guy to update my kitchen. Better still, sell the entire thing to a private investment company before you turn into AMTRAK.
