Live: I woke up today to 100s of reads of Edward Huerta’s admittedly excellent, Brian Wilson at the Greek review from Sunday. A pleasant surprise but how did that happen, right? How about this: Brian Wilson posted it on his Facebook wall. The evening, Wilson’s birthday at Ground Zero for the former beach Boy has been well buzzed about, the setlist is a marvel, and it seems like one that would have been worth a trip to LA to see.  Considering all the negative being thrown our way it was a pleasant change of pace. Congrats to Edward and I hope we passed the audition!

Recorded: In real time? I’ve spent the past hour listening to Alabama Shakes for no discernible reason.

In The Studio: Tomas Doncker entered the studio today to get to work on his first solo album since Small World! I, for one, am very very excited.

Sports: Yanks lost and so did Tampa Bay so we are still a game out of first, the Mets on the other hand just dropped their fifth straight game.

Politics: Not for nothing but is there absolutely no one to root for in the current field of Presidential hopefuls.? No one at all?
