Yup, rocknyc’s own Iman Lababedi will be donning his suit and tie (not really) for this years MTv VMA Awards. So we already know that Perez Hilton will not be sitting next to Gaga, but that’s not the big news.
Iman will be seeing a legend reunion. Yes, Justin Timberlake will reunite with his original band N’Sync.
According to the New York Post, Justin will be joined on stage by his former band members Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, J.C. Chavez and Chris Kirkpatrick. The word is they will be performing a medley of their greatest hits from the late ’90s. I doubt strongly anyone will be able to hear it over the roar of the crowd. Its always a case of ‘caught in the moment’ when there is a reunion such as this.
The rumors (now reality) began when all the N’sync boys were spotted in the VIP section of Justin’s concert with Jay Z. They’re all buddies again so hell, why not.
Earlier this year, Lance Bass stated Justin didn’t have the time to get back together with his band mates.
“I don’t think we’re doing anything. I don’t think [a reunion] would happen. Everyone is doing their own thing,’ he said.
“Justin’s doing his thing. I don’t think he would have a moment off to do an ‘N Sync album. He’s the busy one.”
Sorta sad quote there but SURPRISE Lance, you get a reunion! It’s happening and for one glorious night, you’re a star again!
