Mark another guy I love and I will never see live.
After hearing that Mike Skinner was putting to rest his Limey persona The Streets, imagine my thrill to learn there would be one last concert at T5 on August 12th. I immediately bought a ticket worried it would sell out.
Well, apparently there won't be a last concert at all.
My bet? Sales suck. And here lies the T5 problem. Since they are owned by the promoter, Bowery Ballroom, they offer more money to the artist. But Skinner should've played Webster Hall or Irving Plaza. T5 was too big.
Personally, I hope he changes his mind.
