As much as I love punk is as much as I love ska.  There was a time when that was my obsession. The entire two tone world was so very cool.  I’m super bummed I missed The Specials (though I heard they were awful) and I am pretty sure I’m going to miss Selector as well.  But as I have said a million times, you cannot be sad while listening to ska.

There is something about the festival synth and horns that make every song into a party. The band will do a lightning fast two-week loop bringing  ’70s ska to the East Coast and Midwest for the first time in nearly a decade.  This not the total original line up but hey they still sound wonderful.

I cant seem to find who is supporting the tour my hope is that these guys will pick up local ska acts to open for them in the spirit of true two tone community.  Then again its all about the Benjamin’s so who knows.   If you can make it you should go…
