I've been searching for this info since Friday night and now it's official, the Royal Couple's first dance was to Ellie Goulding singing the Elton John and Bernie Taupin classic "Your Song". Not the most appropriate number in the world. I mean, the Duke of Cambridge may have many gifts, but i doubt his song is one of them.
As long as I am here, I think there isn't much harm left in the Windsors . They are to the UK what Disneyworld is to Orlando. And why not? They are what remains of the Rule Brittania.
Unless you take it seriously (and who does besides Morrissey -who might wanna join the 21st Century at some point)., it really is just a summer movie writ large and if the UK breaks even they are ahead of the curve if only for image reasons.
