The Ready Set released a new song called "Feel Good", and is streaming it. I was beyond excited to hear it since "Hollywood Dream" was so great.
At first, I really liked it. I found it catchy and loved it and was so stoked to here the rest of it. However, as it went on, it went downhill.
The song has an annoying quality about it. It just isn't appealing. It has fantastic moments that really shine through and are perfect and fun and really redeem it- but there's only about twenty seconds of that. The other parts are so bland and boring. If I hadn't sat through the entire thing, I probably would've stopped listening about halfway through. The song as a whole just feels almost monotonous and lame. There isn't anything special about it, except for a couple moments near the end. It's basic and uninteresting.
I hope that the rest of the songs on the album are more exciting or can really hook listeners in because this one just isn't doing it.
