Do you care about whom your favorite rock star is dating? Of course you do! Otherwise tabloids and TMZ-like websites wouldn’t have any success. So if you want to know what’s going on in the indie music world (and beyond) here we go:
According to Gawker, rocker Ryan Adams who recently got divorced from Mandy Moore (so sad!), is dating the sister of Johnny Depp’s wife’s… yep Whitney Heard is Amber’s younger sister and Johnny and Ryan are best buddies, so this could explain a lot, but that’s a bit weird right? I wonder what this would do on his music.
In other news, singer FKA twigs, who released an album last year that Iman loved so much, got engaged to Twilight star’s Robert Pattinson and everyone, who is writing about the story, is reporting that they bonded over their love for music, which is excellent for them. However, the poor girl will make so many teenager girls angry and envious that I would never exchange my place for hers.
And because this week was just incredibly fertile in news of this sort (that must be spring fever), Kendrick Lamar got engaged to long-time girlfriend Whitney Alford too! Good for him, he has a top album and now a future wife.
In the strange news of the dating game, Coldplay’s Chris Martin was spotted with his ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow, spending some quality time in Mexico… The pictures show the two of them cuddling in the sun, a year after their ‘conscious uncoupling’ … who knows what’s going on there.
However, not everybody is living the rosy life, Björk is sued by her ex-partner, Matthew Barney, for more ‘equitable custody’ of their 12-year-old daughter Isadora, as he claims that Björk is hogging the child. And to stay in the music business, Barney is now dating Cheryl Crow, what?
To top all these gossips about music celebrities, Taylor Swift was spotted in Los Angeles at a Haim concert at the Troubadour on Thursday…. And she was holding hands with Calvin Harris… the world’s highest paid DJ with the world’s highest paid pop star, what a power couple! And both highly overrated! But we already know it won’t last for very long.
