Jackie Jackson told Billboard:
'That's what we gotta do — right after the tour, we're gonna go back into the studio and start recording some new music. I can't wait’
He added that the new project would include ‘a little bit of today, and also a return to our sound. We're gonna keep it simple… We can't shy away from our sound.’
Of course, they now are the Jacksons 4 since Michael is dead (or rather the Jacksons -their later stage name), but everybody is wondering whether they will be using this new hologram technique for a few songs during the tour. Honestly, he was the star of the band, who wants to see old Jermaine, Marlon Jackie and Tito sans Michael?
I know, I know they still have fans, but touring is one thing, and I am very skeptical about that new album. I read that their last one, ‘2300 Jackson Street’, was not very good, so what can we expect 23 years later? And do they plan to use this MJ impersonator Jason Malachi guy for some backup vocals on the new album and pretend to have just discovered old recordings?
I mean we have seen a lot of crap with the Jackson family and everything is still possible.
