First the bad news- he’s still around.  That ever pale creeper is well and good and after the rousing success of “Blunderbus” you’d think this would be the good news- well it is, sort of.  There is nothing worse than the arrogance White shows in everything he does.  Valid or not who doesn’t want to whip a shoe at his head?  Not I, I would love to.

The good news is the interview done with Rolling Stone.  It’s not solo Jack it’s the freakin’ Raconteurs!  I adored their first lp- not so much the second (though I did appreciate its sense of humor if you were to rip it to your pc).  But hey everyone is in Nashville- so woo hoo let the party at Jack’s begin.  That being said the same goes for Dead Weather (eww) but I suppose there is a style of Jack White for everyone:

“We all live in Nashville now,” White says. “All the Raconteurs and all the Dead Weather live in Nashville now, so we often go on trips together, because we’re all just good pals. We’ve recorded some things, too. And Brendan and the Raconteurs just built a new studio right in town, so it’s a lot of great inspiration going around.”.

“I’ve got about 20 to 25 tracks I’m working on right now,” he continued. “A lot of songs. So it’s a good time for writing for me. I just want to write and bring the Buzzards and Peacocks in and work on some things, and work on the things with no intention of what it’s going to be. No competition between the bands. People just keep writing and recording until I decide what it’s going to be. And I haven’t decided yet, so.”
