I will never pass up opportunity to mention one of the best hardcore bands out there, The Devil Wears Prada.
I loved lead singer Mike Hranikas surprise guest scream when we saw A Day To Remember and well now I understand teh affiliation. ADTR's Jeremy McKinnon is the vocal producer of the bands new album. Call me lame but I had no idea there were vocal producers- especially in this genre. Then again who better than McKinnon to supervise vocal sound? The guy is fantastic and his guidance to Prada could honestly make this the most clear release yet.
The great thing about both of these bands is the positivity and the strength in lyrics. They also both have the most fantastical drummers of all time.
What does Hrankica have to say about all this jazz?
"The new record contains the heavy aspects of the 'Zombie' EP meshed with the melody of the full-lengths. 'Born To Lose' captures some of those elements and serves as a comprehensive preview to the album. By all means, I'd call it our most emotional, well-written album to date."
I'm psyched. September is going to be a great month for new releases that's for sure. Dead Throne drops September 13th.
