An email was sent out by the Decemberists yesterday announcing that their accordion/keyboard player Jenny Conlee has been diagnosed with cancer and will be skipping the latest leg of the Decemberists tour behind The King Is Dead due to intensive therapy.
She will miss all 9 concerts in May/June. Colin has written:
The good news is that Jenny caught it early. And while the prognosis is very, very good for a full recovery.
