The Belle Brigade’s ‘Where Not to Look for Freedom' Video Review

This new video for The Belle Brigade’s ‘Where Not to Look for Freedom’ is hilarious! It follows brother and sister Ethan and Barbara Gruska during some not-so-ordinary day, as they have suddenly become Siamese twins – Farrelly brothers’ ‘Stuck on You’ style – sharing much more than they are used to.

But thanks to an unexpected dream that becomes reality one happy morning, the two retrieve their freedom, detach from each other, and form a band. What a metaphor to make fun of their since-childhood musical symbiosis!

The song is an exhilarating, super-upbeat, 80s-influenced tune off their debut self-titled album, and knowing how energetic and especially funny they are on stage, they could not have found a more comical way to express their sibling attachment.

And I forgot, part of the video, which was directed by Claire Vogel, was filmed at the Satellite in Los Angeles!
