WEEK 1
Death: Mario Cuomo, the three term New York Governor who for some perplexing reason didn’t take on Ronald Reagan for the Presidency though many of us thought he could take Reagan, indeed, was the only guy with a chance, died hours after his son Andrew was sworn in for a second term.
Live: I ended the year with a disappointing EDM gig at MSG, Skrillex and Diplo, A$AP Ferg and rudimental, altogether, weren’t quite good enough. I may stay home next year!
Recorded: The Kanye West – Paul McCartney was heartfelt and sappy and sucky all at the same time.
Sports: The Knicks are at 5 – 30 as I write. wow, what a disaster. Giants and Jets didn;t reach the post season for the second year, Rex was canned. No more Jeter victory lap so who knows about the Yanks… maybe they will have a shortstop who can hit this year.
Holidays: ended with a splash and a snooze on a quiet 2014, where the most exciting thing was Sony getting hacked. A good year, we could do with more just like it.
