Thanksgiving Half Time Show: Kid Rock Pays Tribute to Bob Seger and Rosa Parks

Suddenly the world is a bigger mess than we could imagine.  When greasy singer Kid Rock takes the stage.  How the hell can Kid Rock call together a tribute of such oddness.  Easy.

Kid Rock will be performing his new song “Detroit Michigan”, which pays tribute to greats from the motor city. This is where it gets hilarious though.  Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Bob Seger, Eminem.. all major musical forces

But Kid also threw in a couple others- Rosa Parks and Henry Ford.  Perhaps  he needed these names to make some rhyming verses but WHAT THE HELL?  First off if I were Rosa and still alive Id beat the hell out of him AND Seger for including me.

The song is on Kid Rocks forthcoming album “Rebel Soul” that’s due out on November 19th.  Be sure to grab that so you can sing along with him.

The United Way gets the props for the 2012 show, using Rock to thank its advocates and volunteers and donors.  Really odd choice but hey hes a local so I suppose it makes sense on that level.

The Detroit Lions’ 73rd Thanksgiving Day Classic takes place Thursday, November 22  vs. the Houston Texans.

Poor Rosa.
