One band for an entire week. All American Rejects on Jimmy Kimmel. The rest is worthless. I am not sure but I'm starting to think that bands no longer need television exposure. Could it be that perhaps the Internet is the real advertiser now? The Black Keys make an appearance but other than that its a bunch of unknowns or too well knowns.
Television is becoming a musical desert. Rare performances for the armchair brigade. It saddens me since there were so many bands that I discovered via television during my youth. Since judging bands by their appearance is an art form, ask anyone.
Despite numerous outlets for musical talent, we are once again face to face with another drab week. SNL is on rerun until next week- this weeks episode is Robyn and her big shoes from December 10, 2011.
