The internet has yet again led me to another fantastic band.
I was followed on Tumblr by a band called Take The Day. I decided to give them a listen to be nice, they followed me after all, and what I heard was completely unexpected. I had anticipated one of those cliche pop-ish bands, trying to hard to sound like All Time Low or something.
I was horribly mistaken.
"As Am I, Isaac Asimov" is a fantastic tune. It's catchy and fun, but unlike anything else I've heard. The singer's voice is stunning. The instruments are so tight it feels like these guys have been together for ages.
"FTW (feat. Challenger!)" is my current favourite song. The beat is addictive, and the lyrics are really clever. I love every second of it. It sounds like a really good summer song, it's definitely going on all of my party laylists.
I'm so stoked I found this wicked nice band. They're so talented, and currently unsigned. They need to be put on a great label, on tour, and spreading their music everywhere.
Follow these guys, they're going somewhere.
