The Take Action tour is an annual spring event that combines doing good with hearing good. The line up is always an interesting mix of harder rock and pop punk. Confusing at times but in our four years of covering it- it has never disappointed.
The doing good part is always most interesting. There isnt much publicity on what we are taking action against (or for!) but it should be known that this is not your basic caravan of B bands. From teen suicide prevention to safe sex Hopeless and Sub City Records give a dose of knowledge with every stop. I love this tour. Even when the line up gets shaky, the cause is always admirable.
This year, the lineup is perfection. What better group to spread info and power than rocknyc faves The Devil Wears Prada? Yup, Mike Hranica leads the pack of fabulous to your town and I, for one, have not been this excited for a tour in very long time. Joining TDWP is the fabulous The Ghost Inside, I Killed The Prom Queen and DangerKids. A pretty fun mash up of old and new!
