What are you thinking FYF fest, do you want to compete with Glastonbury or Coachella? … you were this cool DIY fest and now you are all grown up and so big. How much did you pay Kanye? More than Frank Ocean? I would like to know, as I was amazed to see that 2-day tickets were still available a few days before the festival,… which didn’t sell out?

I Can’t Pretend – The Drums – Quirky where the Drums used to swing, this is a strange soundscape version of one of my favorite bands and while it still has the voice, it lacks the surfness and sensibility – B
The Drums are playing Bowery Ballroom on Saturday September 20th (and MHOW Tuesday, September 16th) and if they are half as good as they were last time, which they may well be because Jonathan is such a centerpiece to the entire scene, they should be well worth the while.
