TV On The Radio At The Theatre At The Ace Hotel, Saturday November 14th 2015 Review

By Alyson Camus | November 16, 2015

Miguel came on stage with TVOTR for the last three songs giving the show a much more R&B feel than before, but because the Brooklyn band probably hates to be pigeonholed, they also covered CAN with the help of the pop-soul singer.

Miguel on Fallon wins, though Run The Jewels TV On The Radio come close… I wouldn’t mind catching Leona Lewis on Ellen.

Miguel Performs In Families Living Room For Great Cause (See It Here)

By Iman Lababedi | September 9, 2015

“Make Room” is a non-profit organization that helps poor people pay their rent and with the current homeless problem in New York, it is even more worthwhile if anything. If the City or State really wanted to help the homeless, they’d give money directly to landlords to supplement rent for poor families. Just because you don’t see children on the street doesn’t mean there aren’t children on the street, they are just hidden from view.

By Iman Lababedi | July 7, 2015

Damned – Miguel – To close out his huge new album, here is a straight up rock and roll circa right this second track: a pouning anthem of dark desire, “I’m damned for loving you”. Well, now we know – B+

rock nyc Top 10 Songs Week Of June 29th, 2015

By Iman Lababedi | July 2, 2015

The thing to keep in mind about this week is it is much less a great song than great album week, the albums accumulate force but without too much stuff sticking out. “people Want to Hear About Love” is the perfect example of a pretty good song on a pretty good album. Most things here are pretty good and also? There will be a lot more of them…

These Days: Wednesday, July 1st , 2015

By Iman Lababedi | July 1, 2015

Some weeks are bigger than others and some are just ridiculous in their greatness.
