Moses Sumney continues his Grae residency at the Bootleg
its third edition on Sunday was a blast
Moon Honey and the Paranoyds should not be missed on June 14th
‘Let me tell you a story about Richard Hell’
I have seen all these bands this year with a few exceptions
Exene Cervenka And John Doe At Brouwerij West With Feels, Mike Watt And The Secondmen, Saturday November 4th 2017
It was made clear that it wasn’t an X concert
Shallow Halls, The Ivy Leaguers, Melted, Feels And Meatbodies At The Hi Hat, Saturday November 19th 2016

I managed to see a few bands during the afternoon
the whole set smelt danger like a psychedelic girl riot
He was holding his guitar very high and tight, pointing it like a gun toward the amp, he has recently collaborated with Ty Segall and his sound couldn’t have been more punk-psychedelic with a heavy layer coming straight from the 70’s.
Which makes me think, I have probably use the terms psychedelic/psychedelia way too many times in this review, but try to see 24 bands in 10 hours!
I spent another Sunday night at the Echo, and this brought me right back in the middle of last summer, with a ‘Part Time Punks’ soiree featuring Feels, Burnt Ones, Corners and Cosmonauts… another sleep-depraved 24 hours in perspective to start the week, but it was all worth it
This new Lolipalooza event had 33 bands playing on three stages in just one afternoon-evening, I managed to see 29 of them, and it felt like a marathon! Yes, I am exhausted today, it was a bit crazy and way too much for the same day, but it’s always the case for festivals. There is no way I am gonna remember what the first or even the 15th band sounded like but who really cares?
